A Montage Of attractions has been something playing in the back of my mind lately the idea around it really intrigues me when you show two images next to eachother which are completely separate in meanings but when put next to eachother create a new meaning? like if you saw a mans expressionless face with a hotdog next to it your mind may think he is hungry?or if you saw the same mans expressionless face with a gun next to it, your mind may think he is sad? This got me thinking, what if we used our photos and projected them onto things? thereby giving the object or space a new sense or meaning? For example the picture above of the gate with the muslim like stars if that was projected onto a bussiness man standing in the street- would this give the man in the suit a new meaning?
