Hi Guys, Im trying to observe by this point of view. I think one of the factor that makes bricklane today is because that road is the perfect cross connection between three primary road,
Bricklane connects BethalGreen, Commercial St., and WhiteChappel.
Its the only shortcut between those main road, that's why lots of people go through that place, and makes it grow, makes it mix.
It grows as the transit city.
This satellite view also shows the density of bricklane..and you can also see the 'pocket' of activity in bricklane.
I still trying to develop this observation. I'm trying to make some diagram so you guys can read it easier..
Just a thought, before you go too far down that road ( excuse the pun ), remember that it's both a one way system and is split into two sections by building work to the mosque. So the traffic doesn't go from one end to another, neither does it go in both directs.
